Pamela Gelfand

As Vice President, and a Tenant/Buyer representative with Gelfand Group, Pamela remains a vital part of Gelfand Group’s expansion within the central Texas commercial real estate marketplace.  In addition to her responsibilities for the company’s internal operations, finance & accounting, agent sales training, marketing, advertising, and purchasing, two of her talents have emerged as Gelfand Group’s business model evolved into the healthcare real estate sector.
She has acquired a keen insight and a wealth of knowledge regarding the unique real estate needs of dental tenants/buyers, which has enabled her to design and implement the company’s ongoing and successful marketing campaign.
She also concentrates on dental real estate research and played a major role in developing an advanced proprietary software package exclusively for our clients.  It contains a sophisticated mapping system that provides exact locations of practitioners, both general & specialist, within any zip code or location of interest.  She updates the mapping system on a monthly basis and combines it with industry-wide data for client presentations.  Combined with Norman’s well-established network of brokers and his vast experience in dental real estate, Pamela’s research has created the Group’s unmatched market intelligence for locating the right dental location.
She teams with her husband, Norman, as a contributing author for the Austin Business Journal. Their articles are written from the tenant/buyer representative’s perspective and feature identification of complex issues specific to dental & medical real estate contracts that could have an adverse effect on practice profitability. The articles further highlight the need for proper negotiation that reduces real estate costs, minimizes adverse contractual obligations and safeguards capital investment.  

Pamela brings extensive corporate experience to Gelfand Group, following a 25-year career that spanned a wide spectrum of responsibilities in internal operations and sales management with a national multi line insurance company.  
Pamela is a native Austinite, and was a member of an established family-owned business. She knows the importance of customer satisfaction in client retention and the role it plays in business growth. Pamela and Norman are a team dedicated to providing Gelfand Group’s clients with the
